For me, a collaboration is successful when you set goals together and pursue them together. In my experience, you can make teams rise above themselves. Joint interest then trumps individual interest. There is team success rather than individual success. Debate is not about the debate in itself, but in the service of a better outcome. And there is an atmosphere in which humor thrives. Because cooperation without humor is incomplete for me.
Contributing to Better Buildings with openness to innovation
I derive pleasure when a building, in addition to being technically perfect and meeting the requirements, also gives the users years of pleasure and inspiration. I believe in the innovative ability of our society to create ever better and more sustainable buildings. Continuing to learn by yourself, cranking up innovation and making possible with smart solutions what at first seemed impossible, that intrigues me extremely.
