“Leading professional teams and designing and realizing (better) buildings together. Buildings that still inspire, surprise and meet needs many years after they have been occupied; that is what drives me. Every day.”
Successful collaborations are often not one-offs
In my view, a collaboration is successful when all parties within the team – from client, users, architect and consultants to builders and suppliers – look back with pride at the result achieved. And certainly also on the way that result was achieved: a clear process in which each other was treated respectfully, each team member felt heard and recognized in the result achieved. A process with room for humor and where achieved results are celebrated together. In my experience, such successful collaborations are not one-offs.
