Project Manager
“Better buildings are buildings that we will still be happy with 50 years from now.”
What I enjoy most, as a project manager, is the variety of work and roles you take on. Both during the day and the stages you go through in the process. In a single day, you may be working on the planning and finances of a project, leading a design session and then on site helping to execute a detail, including the location and team you work with are never the same. This makes it complex, but therefore challenging every time!

Circular building means exploring opportunities together

Better buildings are buildings that we will still be happy with now and 50 years from now, and who knows even longer. To achieve this, we must now use responsible materials and design for flexibility so that buildings are adaptable to changing user needs and we are flexible in exchanging and replacing materials. This requires a concerted effort from the construction team to make it happen. Circular building, then, means exploring opportunities together, rather than being held back by impossibilities. Projects with high ambitions for sustainability and circularity are therefore right up my alley.
