Deltares is a Technological Institute in the Netherlands specializing in water, subsurface, and infrastructure. Deltares primarily focuses on river deltas, coastal regions, river areas, and offshore environments.
On May 1, 2023, Deltares initiated the construction of the Chemical-Biological-Physical Laboratory on the Delft campus. The construction has now reached its highest point in the structural phase. To mark this milestone, Deltares organized a celebratory event.
On January 17, the ‘highest point” ceremony was held at the construction site, attended by all involved stakeholders and users of the adjacent Sigma building. To enhance the festivity, representatives from Deltares welcomed the attendees, and catering was arranged on-site for everyone to enjoy refreshments together.
The new laboratory is scheduled to be completed and handed over to Deltares around mid-July 2024.
