Financial officer

You work closely with the financial manager to perform all tasks related to financial management. You also assist other team members in keeping the office running smoothly and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.

The position is for 16-24 hours per week, with the focus of your tasks mainly at the beginning of the month.

What will  you do?
As a financial employee at Stevens Van Dijck, you play a crucial role in managing our financial administration. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Performing bank bookings
  • Assisting with monthly and annual closings
  • Contributing to the improvement of financial processes

 

Together with the financial manager, you ensure that our financial administration is accurate and up to date. Your attention to detail and analytical skills contribute to the solid financial foundation of our company.

Who are you?
We are looking for a proactive and precise professional with a passion for numbers. You are someone who enjoys taking responsibility and working in a small team. Additionally, you have:

  • A completed financial education (MBO+ level)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of financial software and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • A solution-oriented and flexible attitude

Your onboarding period starts in Zoetermeer, and by April 2025, your workplace, along with the entire team, will move to Utrecht. However, we definitely see the value in meeting, sharing knowledge, and enjoying the office atmosphere. Especially in collaboration with the financial manager.
