“Giving direction to processes in which we work out concrete plans and constantly manage different project teams, in every project I find that to be a challenge that gives me a lot of energy.”
When I was little, my parents had an architect visit us to remodel our own house. When the construction drawings were on the table, my fascination with buildings was born. How is it possible for a building to remain standing? And what happens when you flush the toilet? I remember the many questions that came to my mind. When I later discovered that you could get an education for this, the decision to study Architecture was quickly made.

Well-conceived design solutions

When I see a building emerge on the construction site with visibly well thought-out design solutions it gives me satisfaction. It makes you feel proud when you have been able to realize a physical environment for a client that is more than just a translation of the program of requirements. An environment in which the user and visitors to the building are pleasantly surprised. My dream is to participate in a soccer stadium one day. Not because my interest is in soccer. What appeals to me are the large size of such a stadium and the construction of the whole thing.
