Close to Amsterdam-Sloterdijk station is the former headquarters of KPN. The property along the west ring A10 has been completely converted into a hotel and convention center with entertainment facilities.
Stevens Van Dijck supported DYDL Propco with design supervision of the international design team, construction and tender management, project management and quality supervision.
The property features a large convention center with a ballroom, various reading and meeting facilities, workstations, a restaurant, a spa with health and fitness center and a large casino. The top floor houses a restaurant with panoramic views; Amsterdam West’s rooftop bar.
Most of the complex is occupied by the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West hotel. The hotel consists of 476 rooms, including several suites and a presidential suite.
The striking interior design of this transformation comes from New York-based Karim Rashid. On the north side, a branch of B-Apart with about 60 short-stay apartments has been built. A new parking garage was built on the ring side.
