Real estate investor Annexum purchased a care center in Huizen in 2019. Care residence Slingerbosch, located in the leafy residential area of Crailo, was expanded with a new wing to make room for six residential care apartments ranging from 50 to 80 m² GLA. Each apartment consists of a living room with sleeping area and a luxurious bathroom.
Stevens Van Dijck provided the monitoring of the turn-key agreement with “forward funding” on behalf of Annexum. This involved ensuring proper compliance, in terms of quality based on the agreement with the contractor/developer.
Great care was taken to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for the predominantly elderly residents. All apartments have a personal alarm system that allows for immediate assistance. The villa has also been expanded to include an upscale restaurant and meeting place for residents.
Annexum has signed a turnkey agreement with K6V Bouw BV. The latter was thus responsible for the entire design, engineering and execution based on a program of requirements and sketch design. A special feature is that the new building is folded around an existing, monumental WWII bunker. The bunker was then incorporated into the landscape, preventing demolition.
