Sustainable workspaces for Nationale-Nederlanden successfully delivered

In recent weeks, several new workplace environments for Nationale-Nederlanden have been put into use in Amsterdam (Oval Tower), Arnhem (Landmark), and Rotterdam (Delftse Poort). After an intensive year of close collaboration with many of Nationale-Nederlanden’s partners on both design and execution, the moment finally arrived.

The locations offer modern offices with meeting areas and workspace-supporting facilities. In the Oval Tower, a connecting staircase has also been added. The three projects were executed almost in parallel and were completed within a single large moving month, featuring three consecutive relocation phases.

Preparing and realizing these projects with a strong focus on circularity made it a challenging process. The fit-out was guided by Nationale-Nederlanden’s high circular ambitions:

  • 100% circular construction;

  • Zero Waste principles;

  • An environmental cost indicator (MKI) value 75% lower than that of a conventional design;

  • And the implementation of WELL V2 Platinum certification.

A process full of challenges and ups and downs – but always with one shared goal in mind.

Since September 2024, Stevens Van Dijck has been closely involved in the Oval Tower and Landmark projects, and since January 2025 in the Delftse Poort project. We were responsible for project management and site supervision during the execution phase.

Proud of the result and the collaboration with all partners who made this possible!
